Otto Lohmüller

Otto Lohmüller (born February 4th, 1943) is a prominent boy artist based out of Gengenbach, Germany. Since the age of 10, Otto sought beauty in the works of the ancient Greeks as well as Michelangelo, with Caravaggio and the popular boy scout artist Pierre Joubert later becoming artistic inspirations during his young adulthood. His childhood experiences of participating in the Boy Scouts and exploring Asian and other European countries would greatly inform his artwork, his career, and his personal views on life, with him illustrating books for his local Boy Scouts organization, Deutscher Spurbuchverlag.

His casual approach to nudity comes as no surprise as in 1984 he would join the Deutscher Verband für Freikörperkultur (German Association for Free Body Culture). He would later form Zeus Press, releasing art books such as Ich sag ja | I say yes | Je dis oui in 1985, Species Boy in 1986, and Kalos: Gemälde in 1987. He is married to Ute Wissing and has two sons, David and Adrian, and has several grandchildren.
